We are excited to introduce a NEW Yin/Restore Workshop led by Kathy Schneider, one of our Yoga instructors that will help and support you in your practice and will introduce some namaste into your life. Please join this special indoor Yoga practice. The workshop will start with Yin, transition to Restorative Yoga, ending with a Sound session. Yin is a passive and transformative type of Yoga with poses being held from one to five minutes. With holding these poses longer, allows strengthening, lengthening and therapeutic release to the joints, ligaments and connective tissue. Yin allows one to slow down and provides an opportunity to use mindfulness on the mat and everyday life. Restorative is a passive and meditative type of yoga that encourages physical, mental and emotional relaxation. This type of yoga is also practiced at a slow pace focusing on longer holds and stillness using blocks, bolsters and blankets to support oneself.
